Community Arts Festival

Had a tour this afternoon at JKKN (Jabatan Kebudayaan and Kesenian Negara) together with
my friend Dhanee, her brother Darren, my brother Amos and my cousin Eric.
There were a lot of beautiful visual art pieces display and sell at the same time
Not only that, there were some other performances such as dance and music
Some NGOs were there to raise funds and awareness too.

After you step in the big entrance,
you will definitely attracted by the music and dance at the dance floor right in the middle,
how I wish I could step in and dance with them, hehehehehehehe

^.^
Anyway, I'll be more focus on the Visual Art
Meet Fay Ulrica, just found out that she was Dhanee's primary schoolmate.
A sweet lady, somehow I can't relate her and her art work together when I first met her,
and found out she is the artist. Erm.....yea.....
She is a self-taught artist, and her art works are easy to be recognize, such a talented girl.
=)

Accidentally found this area when Dhanee and I was touring around,
a small NGO installation about love and care about animals.
Well, not a very strong concept to moves me somehow,
part of the reason because of the environment and the way they express I guess.

The dance floor was now became a music area when we passed by,
with the combination of violin and guitar, nice jazzy music to fill in with this lazy afternoon.
We stopped at a corner where a lot of people are doing their DIY beads necklaces and bracelets
which set up by Magic Borneo Beads, pretty colors!

Met Cracko too, hahahaha..... Had a warm greeting with him
and he showed us the installation right in front of him.

WHAT?!

INSTALLATION?!?!?!

We were totally confuse about this installation in the beginning,
probably because we just walked toward  him excitingly without a glance at the description
(and I don't even notice there is an installation on the floor. lols! so fail~)

The concept of the installation came by Egn and Anddy (If I'm not mistaken)and we met Egn
Cracko make he explained to us about the installation concept, hehehe...
Down here is the description and instruction

Went outside and saw this, so cool~~~~
My friend ever mentioned about this group from Ranau, Pangrok Sulap
and they produce woodcut and prints on t-shirts, books, posters, and more....
They said we could join them for their next workshop, cool huh?! heheheheh
I specially like the Trauma one, nice and inspiring work!!!
Cracko brought us to the corner table and let us play with this before we leave,
"Close Your Eyes and Draw a Face Using Pen"
lols!!!!!
An idea came while they were boring sitting beside the installation
we laughed so long after looking at others' work
and is our time to draw......hahhahaha....
Almost faint after I opened my eyes......bahahahahahahah
XDXD
good day, good trip, good people
